Course Description:

Language Arts at the 7th grade level includes learning about different types of writing processes, building vocabulary and improving reading levels as well as learning more about grammar. Students will be exposed to different genres of literature, and learn about various authors. This course is designed to further educate students and prepare them for the next level.

 

Reading Enrichment is a course that is designed to help students that need additional help with reading. We will work on comprehension, vocabulary, and various other topics that will assist students in increasing their reading abilities.

Behavior Expectations

I simply ask that each student treats each other with kindness and respect. I expect my classroom to be an environment where we can learn and feel comfortable.

If any of these expectations are not met, I will first speak to you privately to address the issue. If it continues, I will contact parents/guardians.

Communication

If a student is struggling in class, or needs additional help, please do not hesitate to reach out.

I will do my best to return emails and reply to comments during my planning period each day. My planning period is 11:12-12:12. You can also find class assignments on Google Classroom. What we do daily in class is on my teacher website. This can be accessed through the Owasso 7gc website.
