my name is Jennifer Martin and I have been with Owasso Public Schools for my entire career which is 7 years and I have been at the Seventh Grade Center now for four years my favorite things about teaching are building relationships with my students teaching 7th graders there still kind of learning who they are and I love getting to know them and getting another story and making sure they know that I love them and care about the and we'll do the best thing that I can't wear them I think my biggest reward because I teach math is helping students make sense of the math a lot of students don't necessarily have gaps they just have a lack of confidence and their math ODNR math skills and I really enjoy finding different ways to make math makes sense for my students I get the most joy out of boosting and building kids confidence in map a lot of times they don't have the confidence or they do and they're just not sure of it so I really like to praise right answers even praised wrong answers when they were moving in the right direction and just make it a community safe learning just to be able to build and boost their confidence
