Academic Expectations
Check Google Classroom daily
Attend live class meetings (on Google Meets) as scheduled
If your absent:
- Notify me via email [email protected] beforehand (Use your school email)
- Watch the recording that will be on Google Classroom by the following day
- Attendance will be taken each day. If you are not on Google Meet, you will be counted absent.
Be mindful that at least 2 grades will be recorded each week
Come to our live class meetings prepared (paper and pencil/pen, device w/Google Classroom)
Behavior Expectations
Participate respectfully in live classes on Google Meets
In a Google Meet, turn on your video or have a picture of yourself as your profile picture
Use the mute feature until you need to talk
Raise your hand using the “nod” extension on your chromebook
Use the chat only for responses to my questions or to ask a question
*If any of these expectations are not met, I will first speak to you privately to address the issue. If it continues, I will contact parents/guardians.
Communication
The best way to communicate is to utilize our live classroom meetings where I’m available to provide instant responses.
Questions about assignments: Make a “Private Comment” on the assignment page in Google Classroom with your specific question about that assignment
Questions from Parents: Please email me at [email protected] you can also leave a message at the school (918-272-1183 ) and I will return your call.
I will do my best to return emails and reply to comments during my planning period each day which is from 11:45-12:30
