Mrs. Jennifer Kern » Welcome!

Welcome to the wonderful world of language arts!
Open your heart & mind to amazing facts & stats, other worlds (both real & imagined), life-changing current & historic events, and fascinating fiction, filled with favorite heroes & felonious villains!
Plan on stretching, practicing, growing, and utilizing your new & improved vocabulary! Did you know that over 60 percent of all English words have Greek or Latin roots? In the vocabulary of the sciences & technology, the figure rises to over 90 percent.
Be prepared to develop your ability to communicate with others through writing, speaking, and a few pieces of art work. Grammar, clarity, creativity, and personal style will all be a part of your learning experience.
