Owasso Parents & Guardians,
The safety and security of all students and staff members is the top priority of Owasso Public Schools. With that in mind, we would like to invite you to an Online Safety Presentation from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 22nd at the Mary Glass Performing Arts Center, located at the OHS East Campus.
This Online Safety Presentation will be led by representatives from the FBI’s Violent Crimes Against Children and Threat Assessment & Threat Management squads. These representatives will cover a range of topics such as online threats, including sextortion, along with the role that social media plays in threat assessment & threat management.
The presentation is intended for parents and some content is not suitable for all ages.
OPS principals and administrators attended a similar presentation from the FBI in early August during Back-to-School preparations and felt it was important to give parents the opportunity to hear the information as well.
For those who have never been to the Mary Glass Performing Arts Center, you can enter through the main doors of the OHS East Campus (12901 E 86th Street N). Upon entering, walk straight past the Ram statue and through a set of doors. The entrance to the PAC will be on your right.
